Conviction Game

does the splinter cell: conviction mouse lag on all games?
On the splinter cell conviction game, the mouse does tend to lag a lot, it has got to the point were the game is really difficult to play, do you have any solutions?
Many thanks
I have the same problem and it’s been annoying to play with the lag. I tweaked the files and it has improved a bit, but not by much. You can try it, but I doubt it will be of any help. You can buy a controller. I use the Logitech Rumblepad 2 to play SC:C, but Ubisoft should’ve done a better job with the mouse.
1. Go to your Local Disk and click Program Files -> Ubisoft.
2. Ubisoft -> Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction.
3. src -> system -> Conviction (it’s the .ini file)
4. When opening Conviction.ini file, the Notepad will appear. Scroll down and under “[D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice],” you’ll see ::
ReduceMouseLag=False
Replace “False” with “True” so it looks like ::
ReduceMouseLag=True
5. Save and close Notepad.
6. Repeat step 3 but click ConvictionInputs (it’s the .ini file)
7. When opening ConvictionInputs.ini file, the Notepad will appear. Scroll down and you’ll see ::
MouseX=Axis aMouseX Speed=0.001
MouseY=Axis aMouseY Speed=0.001
Replace the speeds with a higher number. I don’t know what’s the max, but this is what I put ::
MouseX=Axis aMouseX Speed=100.500
MouseY=Axis aMouseY Speed=100.500
8. Save and close Notepad.
Hope I helped.

Identity $4.28 With an ace up its sleeve, Identity does for schizophrenia what The Silence of the Lambs did for fava beans and a nice chianti. On the proverbial dark and stormy night, this anxiety-laced thriller offers a tasty blend of And Then There Were None and Psycho, with a dash of Sybil for extra spice and psychosis. Things go from bad to worse when 10 unrelated travelers converge at an isolated motel and … |

La Femme Nikita [Blu-ray] $7.95 French director Luc Besson (The Fifth Element) broke the commercial taboo against female-driven action movies with this seminal, seductively slick film about a violent street punk (Anne Parillaud) trained to become a smooth, stylish assassin. Though it amounts, in the end, to little more than disposable pop, the film has a cohesiveness in style and tone–akin to the early James Bond films–that gi… |
