What prison system does a person usually go for Grand Theft?
I am a first time offender and recently took a plea deal for three counts of Grand Theft Larceny of a Firearm. The deal states 2 years in State Prison. I have no priors. I wanted to know what level of security I would be placed in and what prison I might go to?
Your answer depends on whether you plead to a state charge or federal charge and whether you have a history of violence or not. in most states in the US you would serve time in a medium/maximum facility until you have proved your self worthy of a minimum security facility.}{
