It’s real. It’s a bank recovery rally. Nothing to do with Obama. More to do with the part of the $700b bail out money last year that wasn’t wasted on AIG.
Wells fargo announced a 1st quarter earnings of $3b profit last Thursday sending financial stocks higher. The rally started in early March when Bank of America and Citi Group CEO’s claimed their banks made profit in the first 2 months of this year. Ben Bernarke also indicated that banks won’t be getting nationalized.

Friday: Citi Group
Monday: Bank of America
